US Airways get ramp contract at LGB
US Airways has won the contract for ground handling Frontier Airlines when they start service to Denver in May.

US Airways to outsource ramp at LGB
Starting this coming October, US Airways will be outsourcing the ramp at LGB. The ramp employees will be recieving a packet on Tuesday July 21 explaning what will happen and what will be available for them. Currently US Airways has layed off employees at LAX and will be down sizing their SNA operation this coming fall. Looks right now like PHX will be the closest station that has ramp openings. More information to come.
